The mods can move this to open wheel if they want, but i thought maybe because it has to do with a current Nascar driver this might be the place for it. Anyway, here is a video of Kurt winning the 2014 Indy 500 ROTY.

Awesome. He's gained my fandom ten-fold in the past 2 or 3 years. As a NASCAR fan primarily, I feel very well represented after that 500. He's got my full support no matter what he's driving. Let's not forget about the NHRA license either. I'd love to watch him turn a light against the pro's in a pro stock car.

Always liked Kurt. Glad to see he's turned it around from a couple years ago and is seeing success :)

Me too. I used to hate Kurt circa 2001-2011. He's been much more likable for some reason since he was fired from Penske. Love his honey badger attitude. Also, his willingness to experiment with IndyCar and NHRA is the closest we're going to get to a modern AJ Foyt or Mario Andretti driving everything with wheels.

I really didn't care for him up until a couple years ago.. TBH, that Speed documentary really brought it full circle for me.. He is a genuine racer through and through and has learned to handle himself very well.. I have a lot of respect for him. He's nothing like his snot nosed little brother :D

As far as the Andretti/Foyt comparison.. Other than JPM, Stewart, or even racecar drivers like Travis Pastrana.... Yup.

That's awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Good for Kurt, he vastly outperformed my expectations of what he would do. I'm not an Indy fan but I watched to see how he did, and I enjoyed it!

The "outlaw" obviously earned the award and then some IMO
Nascar fans should all be real proud of him

Well, the other options were Kimball (13th), Mann (20th), Hinchcliffe (29th), and Jay Howard (30th).
Damn you and your logical approaches to things while I just open my yap and say the first things that comes to my brain.
