Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that was the first KB interview since the Spencer deal.

Good to see that the media is not holding too big a grudge even if some fans are. :D

I'm still amazed at how many folks on various boards just don't like the fact that Kurt should not have led with his nose :D

I live in Vegas and watching Kurt progress (along with his brother and Brendan) from our local shortie to the bigs has been a lot of fun.

I think a lot of it boils down to the fact that the regulars from nascar dont like seeing a young gun come in and beat their A** the way Kurt has!!!!!!!!

I don't think it was as much he was beating them but other reasons he was getting the Rodney Dangerfield treatment in the garage.

He will eventually earn the respect of the other drivers, something he has not gotten by being a good driver but because his aggressiveness from the dropping of the green flag to the waving of the checkers has been less than welcomed. Once Kurt gets control of this error in his driving, he'll find more and more acceptance and respect from others.

It is interesting to note he made several moves only to back off at the last split second rather than stick his nose where the hole might not be big enough, too early in the race. A sure sign of improvment. He seems to be trying to wait until things shake out a bit before making his moves and they appear more calculated than the style of Saturday night shootout twenty-five lap features he is used to.
