Makes ya wonder just how good he would become if he had spent a year or two in Busch Grand National to pay his dues like yer supposed to!:D

Seriously though, I wonder how the ROTY would have shaped up last season if Roush Racing had been on its game.

He climbed really fast to the top. I can't wait to see his brother race in the trucks next year, if only I had SPEED.

Hey Gordon24......his brother is better. Much much smoother, but even wilder when he needs to be.

Well sure I do. I'll put em up under another thread.

Kyle is a lot like Jeff. Started racing at a 13 and spent every extra moment at the track going around in circles. But instead of whooping up on all the other kids in age bracket divisions, Kyle went straight after and beat the old guys including semi-legend Chuck Trickle and NCTS ROTY candidate Brendon Gaughan, setting new track records along the way, running off 12 straight Pro Division Legends wins (age 14) AND winning 11 of 16 Late Model races entered (age 16). His first at 15 which was taken away cause he was too young.

So Jack dumps him in a truck, and he is an immediate force. nascar sez no too young so what to do? Well dern, send him up against the best short-trackers on the planet in a used car (which he promptly put on the outside pole in the first race entered). Teach him patience. Teach him to take what the car will give. I watched every ASA race I could this year. Jack finally gave him a real car just under 2/3's of the way thru the season. He finished the year with 3 top fives and 9 top tens in 19 starts.

kurt is a good driver I wonder if he will ever get enough consistency to win a cup though.
