Kvapil could be in the No. 88 this week at New Hampshire
Travis Kvapil, who was recently named driver for Yates Racing’s No. 88 Ford or next year, may make his debut with his new team sooner than expected.
There is talk that Kvapil may be behind the wheel of the No. 88 Ford in place of Ricky Rudd this week at New Hampshire.
Rudd who separated his shoulder during a hard crash at California will continue the healing the process that some say may force him to retire early. Kvapil will replace Rudd who announced that he would retire at the end of the season. Kvapil is currently third in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings. The Truck series will be in action at New Hampshire Saturday.
