Joe Gibbs Racing officials announced Monday that Sprint Cup drivers Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin will share the team's No. 18 Chevrolet in the 2008 Nationwide Series season. The team said it is looking for sponsorship for the team.

Hamlin has split time in JGR's No. 20 Busch Series entry this season, while Busch is moving to Gibbs from Hendrick Motorsports. The two have combined to win 15 Busch Series races in their career, 10 for Busch and five for Hamlin.

"Our Busch program is just as strong as our Nextel Cup operation," team President J.D. Gibbs said in a news release. "We've made it even better for next year by teaming Denny with Kyle. Both guys love running the Busch Series, and it's shown on the race track. They're proven winners."

A team spokesman said JGR will also continue to field the No. 20 next year, too. Drivers and sponsors were not named. Both the No. 18 and No. 20 teams have used various drivers and sponsors this season. The No. 20 team is second in the Busch owner’s standings, 116 points behind Richard Childress Racing's No. 29 team.

JGR's No. 18 team is 22nd in owner points.
