Kyle Busch and his chitty luck.....

I gotta say, that guy has the worst case of opening season luck he's had in quite some time.

I wonder if the door will swing differently for him this year? Usually he comes out guns blazing and the JGR slips and trips during the chase.

Maybe this year will be different. Maybe he will turn the corner?

That's his winning truck team running his NW stuff. They'll get it right. Since there is no real money to be made in NW, me thinks Kyle plans to be driving for his own cup team in 4 or 5 years.

He knew going in that there would be plenty of trials and tribulations. He's a single car operation running against some big time cup operations. The fact that he was able to race his way to the front the part two weeks in sub par equipment is very impressive. Once they get some new cars built and better engines they'll start winning races.

Better engines? You mean TRD isn't providing those?

Nope. JGR has nothing to do with Kyle's team. Kinda makes you wonder what's going on.
After the race saturday, Kyle got out of his car and Joe Gibbs was standing there. Kyle walked right by him intentionally until Gibbs yelled something to him. Kyle then turned around shook Joes hand and then turned back around and walked away with out ever saying a word. Baaaad blood in KBM-JGR camps...

That's not what I said. I said:

TRD has nothing to do with JGR I thought. TRD provides engines for all TOYOTA racers on the track. So I thought. I could be wrong, I often am lately.

Nope, my bad. TRD and JGR merged their engine programs this year. Kyle builds his own engines, frames, etc. From what has been said, nothing comes over from JGR.

I wonder if the crew gets to return the tirade when the driver messes up? LOL

I've often thought the CC should call Kyle a mother sucker and tell him how much he sucks when he messes up. Now Kyle owns his own team, so it's no holds barred. Perhaps Spencer has a new radio sweetheart.

so what's the big deal? kyle owns the team. it's his right to say whatever he wants. i imagine part of that would be "here's your severance pay" to some of his pit crew shortly. they do sorta, you know, suck.

I saw that as well but I think you're looking into it way too much. When Kyle gets pissed he storms off like that and he just wanted to get the hell out of there. When he's that mad you have no idea if he is or isn't paying attention to what's going on around him.

That being said his crew deserved to be cursed at, they screwed up big time.

Professionalism. Kyle doesn't have any, and maybe it affects his ability to attract some people to his pit crew.

I don't think it's a "big deal" but some people feel that treating employees in that manner isn't acceptable while others feel it's fine. Either way, it's all personal opinion and that's why most of us are here.

It does leave me to wonder how much I'd be willing to endure for a job.

Maybe someone needs to be fired, but nobody needs to be called a mother sucker. Kyle's actions do little to help a crew put a mistake behind them and concentrate on the next pit stop. I know, it was the last stop of the day, but Kyle does this anytime he wants. All that talent wrapped up in a total jackass. Someone needs to pop him in the mouth.

Stop spreading FUD. There is no bad blood. Kyle didn't see Joe over there but when Joe got Kyle's attention Kyle congratulated Joe Gibbs and shook his hand. After that Kyle began to walk to his hauler.
What you posted is not true. I understand that you probably hate Kyle for whatever reason but don't make stuff up and post it as fact.

I know this has been discussed a lot before but there are a lot worse things said in professional sports. They are big boys, they can handle it and if they can't then they need to find a new job.

Exactly. World class driving talent is in short supply while there are countless people who'd gladly be scolded from time to time for the opportunity to work on a NASCAR pit crew. Personally I would rather work for a guy who gets fired up.

Once someone has decided they hate a certain driver the hope of an objective discussion is gone. Not worth even trying.

That's different though, he got fired for cursing out a reporter, had nothing to do with his crew.

He didn't get fired, and he didn't curse out a reporter. He yelled "Can someone get this mother sucker [camerman] out of my face".
Kyle will become Spencers next target, because he needs a new one. Then the sponsors will get involved. I have a hard time understanding people thinking this is the way to go. Kyle's innability to control his emotions in a semi-mature way has even affected his judgement behind the wheel. He needs to grow up for his own good!

That mother f**ker was for Jerry Punch. But that's what he got fired for, he didn't get fired for cursing out his own crew. And come on! We all know he got fired lol if he didn't yell at Jerry and get caught on camera doing it he would still be in the 22.

And Jimmy Spencer is irrelevant. That guy isn't very credible with anyone. He makes a scene cause that's his bit.

Have truer words ever been spoken?

No, it wasn't, and that's a fact. It was clear to me from day one who Kurt was talking about, and Kurt himself confirmed it months ago. The camera man didn't even have the camera on, but he was right in Kurts face anyway.

You're right, I just checked out the video again but still, he got fired for that whole incident, we all know it. If that didn't happen he would still be in the 22 mother f**cking his crew lol

Kybu's luck has me concerned. I jumped on the Kybu bandwagon this year, and as luck would have it, no luck so far. He is an awesome wheelman, but other areas we already know about. My feeling is things will turn around for him,and he will start proving the doubters wrong and win races. Just a bad start is all. As the great George Carlin said'' You don't just jump out of bed and start vacuuming,do you?"
Boy I miss George...
