Leading in Truck, leading in Cup, 3rd but right there in Busch series.

What you think?

I think u mean kyle, IMO to early to tell. He's got a ton of talent, if he can win a couple of cup championships I would put him in the top 10.

I don't know, I'm a Kyle fan, but he just maybe hot right now. I don't think there is such a thing as best driver, there all good, some are just flashier then others. Duane

Kyle has a ton of talent but it is way too soon to say how good he will be. Remember, he only has 5 wins in his career. Hardly earth shattering.

I think we all, or most of us, will agree that he has a ton of talent. I heard before he came to NASCAR that he was better than his brother and I can see that right now. But there is one thing that he has yet to experience and that is a wreck that will shake his confidence. All the old timers have had one of those and that will definitely slow them down a tick, just to be a bit safer. At 22, he has no fear and seems to be able to see the wind like the elder Earnhardt. I want to wait and see how he holds his temper to stay out of trouble on the track before I put him in the top ten, but he has the potential for sure.

Just like Mark Martin said he's the greatest raw talent in the sport today. If the kid is this good at 22 years old the rest of the field is in for a world of hurt once this amazing driver matures...
Too bad he ain't in a Ford.

Gotta disagree on the wreck thing, Buck. What about the several-roll flop he took in his first full year of Cup that eventually resulted in a fire?

IF he matures. Doesn't seem to run in the family.

Kyle is the best, today, and fun to watch. He reminds me of the late Time Richmond and a little bit of Buddy Baker and Harry Gant running around the top and making it work where ever he needs to. Buddy was a hard charger who ran flat out all the time, as did Richmond, and Kyle is a lot like those three.

Kyle has the talent and he can get to the point where he doesn't wear equipment out before the race ends he will win a bunch of races and a few championships.

Pure talent? Definitely.

And I think people are learning that he's not just a younger version of his brother. His personality is a lot different - a lot more playful. Yes, he says unfortunate things sometimes, but he's only 22. Just think how much he's matured in the last 3 years.

But man can he drive! I think he's great for Nascar right now. He's a bit of a wild card, both on the track and behind the microphone. But unlike Kurt or Tony, he doesn't say those things out of bad blood, IMO. I think he's more light hearted than they are. He's just young, immensely talented and indestructible.

Its going to be fun to watch.

Well, the commentators sure seem to like him but "Rowdy" Bush and the "Wild Thing" - give me a break!

Yer right, but how bad was he hurt? Once those boys go through something that makes them take a look at what they are doing and what could happen to them, they begin to stop taking so many chances and rely more on strategy. Now whether or not Kyle is taking chances is a matter of opinion. He very well could be that much better in reaction times than most and is able to take advantage of that fact.

I believe that I agree with buckaroo on this one. Kyle hasn't had one of those type wrecks that makes him think twice. In any case at this point in his career he is still a young kid with potential and hasn't really won anything yet.

Thank God we didn't see any of that violent stuff at 'Dega last fall or at Daytona this year. The COT seemed to hold up better.

Yep, that was a terrible crash, but if you noticed, he quickly got out of the car on his own and didn't appear to be hurt at all. Had he broken his leg, arm or something in his hand, that would be what I'm talking about. These cars are pretty damned safe compared to yesterdays cars and that give more confidence to the drivers. I know that had I been in that car at that time, I would never again, not even once, get into a race car, but I'm 60 almost and he's 22 and been doing this for a long time.
