This should squish some of the Kyle haters. Somebody thinks he's doing well.

Kyle Busch named 1st Quarter Driver of the Year: #18-Kyle Busch crushed the competition on the track and in the ballots as he won 1st quarter Driver of the Year 2008. Busch won a total seven races in NASCAR's top-three series, Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Craftsman Truck Series. Although he leads in the Cup standings with a second place this past weekend in Richmond, voting only considered results through the previous event at Talladega Speedway. In the voting Busch took 14 first-place ballots, and none lower than a third place totaling 142 points. Cup rival Roush/Fenway driver Carl Edwards' three wins earned him one first-place vote and a total of 72 points.(DOTY PR)(5-6-2008)

Based on results, he's doing well- doesn't necassarily mean people like him.
;)

Everyone should think he's doing well. Hell, he is.

And being liked or not is never a real measure of success anyway.

Kyle Busch deserves it the way he is running so far this season.

and if there was a A$$hole of the year he'd be the 1st quarter winner

All things said about Kyle Busch, I will say this. Race fans have wanted action, drama and rivalries. Looks like Kyle Busch is going to deliver race fans what they've wanted.

hes about to do the jeff gordon thing from the 90's where everybody hated him for how many races he won.

All he needs to do now is carry an Earnhardt flag around the track after his next win. :D

I don't necessarily like the fact that Jr. got takin out, but Kyle does what he gets paid to do, race hard and try to win at every oppertunity. I believe the Kyle haters have a long time to dwell on it, cause I believe he'll be good for a long time. JMO Duane (yes, I am a Kyle fan)

He literally crushed much of the competition into the wall and into other cars and i expect him to continue is car crushing ways until someone gives him a Jimmy Spencer type tune up .

Jimmy should have been thrown out along time ago...

Give the boy time he is what 22, 23? How old was Sr. when he got his first cup win?

I'm sure if Sr. had the type of equipment starting out as kyle has had I'm sure Sr. would of got close to richard petty #'s
