#18-Kyle Busch, who leads the Sprint Cup Series standings, will run that series' events at Pocono Raceway, the Pocono 500 on Sunday afternoon in addition Busch also plans on being at Texas Motor Speedway for Friday night's Craftsman Truck Series race, the Sam's Town 400. Then, on Saturday night, he'll be in the Nationwide Series at Nashville Superspeedway for the Federated Auto Parts 300 presented by Dollar General. This is unprecedented to say the least. No driver has ever attempted to run in all three NASCAR national series on one weekend at three different tracks. Due to the intense travel challenges, Busch will take part in only one qualifying session this weekend – at Pocono, in the #18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. At Nashville, Busch will be in the #32 Toyota for Braun Racing. Tennessee native Will Allen will sub for Busch during practice and qualifying. At Texas, Busch will be in the #51 Toyota for Billy Ballew Motorsports, but qualifying and practice in the truck will be handled by J.R. Norris.(NASCAR PR)(6-3-2008)

I think thats a bit much, but what the hell, he can afford it. I wish him luck!! Duane

DW was pretty critical of him on Sunday's race broadcast, saying that he should concentrate on a 'Cup championship.

He's gonna start in the back in the Truck and Nationwide races. Looks like there are going to be A LOT of wrecked racecars.

He will, its suppose to be around 95* here this weekend with high humidity, plus some t-storms. Maybe he'll come up with something new.

I wonder about him trying the burn the candle at both ends. I'm sure he feels that he can keep this up, but sooner or later, it will catch up to him.

I have to admit, I will watch to see just how fast he can get up to the front.

He's still such a young pup that he has that ability to last quite a bit longer. Me...after I sit for five minutes, it takes a good ten minutes before the stiffness goes away. If only I had the energy of those youngsters. Hell, I'd even take the energy of the old Mark Martin. :)

I'll concur with all of that:D

He might as well try doing those things while he's young and has the energy. Oh, and I thought Mark Martin was 10 yrs older than he is. He's not THAT old. I was surprised I was older than him. I guess he's been out in the sun too much or something.

Mark Martin — Age: 49 years (born 9 January, 1959)

He has the same birthday as my daughter! She's 24, though! And yeah, I'm a few years older than Mark! Did I just admit that online? Arrggh! I forgot I was going to start lying. :D

Mark used to have a bad alcohol problem, that mixed with his job contributes allot to his looks. But he is an amazing guy...

49 is old for ANY sport. But he can still drive better than a lot of those turds in their 20s.

Mark Martin will ALWAYS be a good racecar driver. I don't blame him for not retiring, the old fart's still running good.

Mark Martin is one of the greatest, imo. :)
