After reading the article and his post race tweets, I take it he's mad because he didn't get the opportunity to give short answers and look pissed off. Especially since BK was given that opportunity.

But I can't imagine why TV wouldn't want to interview him? They seem to ask questions of these guys just to get them riled up and he is always good for some attitude when things don't go his way. I'm sure it's tough to take his demeanor and I wouldn't want to but it's their job. And admit it or not, it's good TV. Just like carnage on the track, we like to see it as much as a Busch vs Craven battle to the finish. But we want to be "real" fans and never admit that it interests us. That's why he is awesome to have on the track and listen to during and after races.

During the post race interviews they said Kyle was unavailable. I figured he was mad and he has learned to avoid questions when angry. But according to the article that wasn't the case. I guess the Fox team couldn't find the 3rh place driver.

...but wait, there was this from him just a few weeks ago. So its only when Kyle thinks he should be interviewed...

No, it isn’t.

The current comments are about the requirement for the top 3 finishers to be available for interviews. That one is clearly not.

My point is while the circumstances might be different, it is the media that determines what is worthy of an interview not the driver.
..and if he thinks the top 3 finishers should be available for an interview, does he also think the top three finishers should respectfully answer the questions. Don't forget this beauty after he finished second last year.

I wish he had been interviewed. Guaranteed outrage.

Don't blame Kyle for being pissed off here. This seems to be a repetitive thing now, where the networks say Kyle Busch wasn't available for an interview when he's had no problem talking to other reporters or to radio.

you they wonder why the teams are getting these kids that are glad to be here and are a easy and fun to work with.

yeah could be the TV people were pressed for time, I know they had to get that potato head kiddie show or whatever it was on right after the race. But Kyle also has a history, and everybody including the hot dog man knew he would get slick if he was on camera. So there he is on the radio when he was supposed to be interviewed for TV. So they grab 4th place Keselowski for the after gig. Waa Waa Kyle.

I remember last season where FOX said they attempted to interview Chase but totally lied and were called out for fabricating events.

Follows the trend

There are jerks in every sport and in every walk of life.

I think these people add something to the equation. Why anyone thinks NASCAR participants should all be the same is beyond me.

They don't, KDB is KDB, it's always somebody else's fault

yeah for sure. That was the highlight of the race for me when the crew guy twisted the wedge the wrong way and watching Larson work him over for the pass. I was disappointed when he didn't get interviewed
