Hello ladies and gentlemen! It has been a long long time however WhiningSmoke has returned to the forums of racing.
Is it time to say I told you so? Because….. I told you so.
Through the entire 2023 season, Kyle Busch is currently tied for the winningest driver in the sport, having replaced that no-good B+ driver Tyler Reddick driving for famed owner Richard Childress. He has been in contention to win literally every single race he has entered this season, whether it be an exhibition race, a qualifying race, or a points-paying full race. He is proving he is still the best driver in the sport…. Taking the rocket ships that were wasted on a B+ driver and winning races with them. You know what Kyle Busch DIDN’T do yesterday? He didn’t overdrive his car while up seconds on the field sweating Ross Chastain like Reddick did last season sweating….. Erik Jones .
On the other hand, Tyler Reddick thus far this season has literally been the worst driver in the sport. Through all of the races we’ve run thus far, Reddick has the 2nd worst average finish of all drivers (39.0) and he is 36th in points…. Technically in a tie with Erik Jones and Ty Dillon. Basically, I believe I gave Reddick too much credit when I called him a B+ driver! For a guy who was touted a generational talent, it must be awful to be exposed as a driver 4 tiers below Bubba Wallace…. Who is a fantastic driver I might add.
Toyota will rue the day that they let Kyle Busch walk to replace him with Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs. I will not hate on Ty Gibbs, as he is a rookie, but Toyota traded a REAL generational talent for a rookie who’s done nothing but run 19th all day and literally the worst driver in the sport.
Joe Gibbs, David Wilson…. You all messed up. Richard Childress made the right move ousting Tyler Reddick in favor of Kyle Busch…. Reddick was holding RCR back.
Tyler Reddick is the worst driver in NASCAR, period.
