Yup, Kid Kyle is running our local shortie this Saturday night in preparation for Dover Sept 20th. Guess where I'll be Saturday night? :D :D

"Busch, who is driving a limited Busch Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule this season for Hendrick Motorsports before steping up to the Busch Series on a full-time basis in 2004, will drive in Dick Cobb-prepared Chevrolet in the 75-lap Super Late Models main event and will team pilot one of Alex Haase's cars in the 25-lap Pro/Masters Legends Car race."

"Growing up in Las Vegas and racing at the Bullring for pretty much my entire life, I'm pretty excited to get back there," Busch said. "No matter what I do and where I race, I guess I could never get completely away from Super Late Model and Legends Cars racing in Las Vegas.

"We won both races on July 3 and hopefully we can do it again."

Busch, a Las Vegas native and Durango High graduate, has two victories and two poles in five ARCA starts this season and two runner-up finishes in three Busch Series starts in the No. 87 ditech.com Chevrolet.

Good to see ya racecar. And yea, sure hope to. Got to work Saturday but I should be able to go straight from work to the track and get there about 6:30 or so.

Neat thing is that with an Orleans Hotel club card, rumor has it that it is only five bucks to get in so I'll be low in turn one with my Realtree 71 hat on. Although I do have a ditech hat (non-racing) I could wear and get an autograph on. Got it already on some hats from Roush and Sharpie along with his brothers and Jacks.

More than anything tho, I gotta razz him about messing around with backmarkers. He had the car to maybe make it three ARCA wins and he blew it by tangling with a lapper. Gol Dern kids anyways.

I missed the July race but got to see him earlier in the year.

Glad to see that Kyle Busch is racing so well. I am not fond of Kurt but I like Kyle quite a bit. He'll be the one to beat next year. Cant wait!!!

Well, unfortunately I couldnt make it. I'm too lazy, I hope the race is great. Enjoy the race 71fan and all who's watching.

Kyle is going to win @ my home track of Dover. I cant wait to see that car go and race.

Tim Sauter is going to the cup race with Dave Marcus

Can't wait to see him win as well at Dover. I'll be there to see him take the checker flag.

Are you from Delaware or just go there for the race?

I live in Canada and it takes about 8hr. to drive there. I go to both the races in June and in Sept. I've been to the Magic Mile in NH which is much closer for me but it's very boring. I love the racing at the monster mile, its worth the extra driving to see it. Been going for about 4 yrs.
Lucky you that you live there.

Well I didn't get out to The Bullring last Saturday bight.....grubba grubba grubba.....but young Kyle came home to get ready for Dover and finished 2nd in the Super Late Models while good ol Chuck Trickle took the championship and Spencer Clark, a 16 year old who could be the next kid from Vegas to hit the big time was named ROTY.

Maybe I just can't see it for looking at it.......

But demmed if I can find Kyle on the entry list for Dover. Lots of entries (about 51 I think) but can;t find his name.

Busch race HS, while I think he could have easily stepped in to the ride that Brian got, apparently Rick thinks he needs a year in the minors.

see told ya I couldn't find it for looking at it. LOL

49 entries for the Busch race though I see enough TBA's to make me think the actual number will decline. Add the weather making any qualifying runs doubtful, if a team is not almost guaranteed a starting spot, might be a good weekend to save a buck or two.
