Looks like Kyle is running a limited schedule in Nextel cup next year along with his full time ride in the 5 chevy in the Busch Series. He is taking over for Vickers in Busch!

It will be exciting to watch Kyle race in Cup! I wouldn't doubt that he can pull off a win or two!! For anyone that hasn't seen this kid raced yet >> you are in for some excitement! A major talent in the years to come!

My personal opinion of him aside, he has looked pretty awesome in the few Busch races I had seen him run in this past season.

Yes, I was wondering if his personal skills are better than his family name has dictated in the past...

I'm sure that Jeffy Boy and Rick Hendrick are molding him right now as we speak!

I haven't heard Kyle make any waves with anyone like His brother Kurt has! Kurt is a good guy too >> just very aggressive on the track >> give Kurt a chance to >> Kurt will be winning races for a long time to come!

now if you would post like that more often nobody would say anything about you, good job

Seen Kyle run in a couple of races. Looked pretty impressive. But a number of impressive Busch drivers really couldn't run with the cup drivers. We will just have to see how he does. :D

It is pretty heady stuff to be stocking grocery store shelves at about eight dollars an hour one eyar and put into a top series race car with a multi-million dollar contract within two years and expect anyone to keep thier head on straight. Kurt Busch is no different. His age and maturity level had a lot to do with that.

There are plenty of examples of drivers who suffered the syndrome of getting too much too soon and in the over all scheme of things, an example of a driver who received the proper training throughout his career from day one is Jeff Gordon. Gordon had an advantage with guidance from his family and served him well as he advanced through the ranks and became successful. One who has proven himself as being well groomed even wehn under stress is 2003 Winston Cup Champion Matt Kenseth.

It is obvious there are several drivers who came up from the depths of the unknown within the past five or six years who had litle to no training on being polite and gentlemanly. Lessons instilled too late to salvage a reputation that will follow for years and might never be extinguished.

Kyle Busch is, as suggested, getting the basics in "personal deportment" and public behavior. This is not a bad thing. No sponsor want s to spend millions on a team and have a driver throw temper tantrums when the games in the sandbox don't unfold the way they think they should.

Kurt Busch is one of the best in the series, if not the best, right now, bar none. He will win a championship and he will kick butt in this series. Kyle ??? Let's wait and see. The lad has shown definite promise and faces the ultimate challenge.

I have no idea what Kyle's demeanor is like. I just wasn't too thrilled about how the whole thing with him bailing out of Roush played out.

The way I hear it >> Kyle Didn't want to work on the same team as Kurt >> and Also Roush didnt really have anything for him >> Hendrick put him in ARCA and some Busch for 03!

i am really excited about the '04 season simply because jeffy's is gonna win but im looking for "05. This kid has a lot of talent and he will easily fit in with the big dawgs. Look at his 1st busch race. He finished 2nd! I'm sure he will be added to a second car for Jeff. Wow, Hendrick is becoming probaly the biggest icon in the sport if not now then definitely by '05.

kyle didnt sign with roush i heard because roush wanted him to sign a many year deal and he did not want to be tied up that long. So hendricks offered him a lower year contract.

It was early last year when Kyle made the statement that he did not
want to race on the same team as his brother. He and Kurt, from what was said,
have never been sibling friends, so to speak. Jack Rousch gave Kyle the OK
to look for other opportunities, and even suggested HMS. The rest is history.
I wish Kyle well.
