The mods won't allow what I really want to call him but he is a danger to all on the track. He drives waaaay over his head. He could have won today except his imaturity got him, he can't wait, always has to push the issue.

Can't wait to read his excuse for this last bonehead move.

yea, he shoulda let him go, he had the better tires. Bad communication and thought processes i guess.

Jourdain Jr. shouldn't have thrown the block on Kyle that hard.
Anyway you look at it, Kyle is a much better driver. Just young and anxious.

Normally I would jump on the "He's an idiot" pile, but not this time. Michell or whatever his name is came down on Kyle. Kyle was all the way to the inside wall. Jourdain tried that wimpy indy car blocking stuff, well not in stockcars son, it don't work. Kyle was in the right!

Thats the same way I see it.

i have to agree with you. Kyle was way down in no-mans-land. But kyle still could have let off the gas a little and let him go by and pull the crossover by the chicane or turn 1.

AND Kyle went ahead and took all the blame...the article is at NASCAR.com

Kyle acted like an inexperienced driver......no patience.

It wouldn't have mattered for some of you. The fact that he is a Hendrick's driver makes him one of the Devil's spawn. If he were racing for anyone else I seriously doubt that this thread would even exist...

it sounds like he's getting a lot of press for making a lot of mistakes because he's young....folks..he's not a rookie anymore...if he keeps making rookie mistakes maybe he's not ready for cup yet...notice i said yet people....i think he'll be a good racer...but come on..he's only 20....dont you guys think some of these guys are comming up way to young now?

I guess some people have to single out someone for criticism each and every race, no matter what the series.

Fer crying out loud. When old Ironhead was doing this, he was praised by many for doing a good job. Seems like most of you have forgotten his style. It was said a few years ago when Kyle was but a sixteen year old heading to the big time that he was better than his brother. There has to be a reason for that and I suspect that Kyle might just want to win more than Kurt does and that's pretty much. No one likes it when someone takes out the leader, no matter how aggressive the move may be. The thing with what happened to Kyle is that it not only took out the leader, but pretty much took himself out. Just imagine how most of you would be trashing him if he went on to win the race.

I'm not trashing him. I like him because he's aggressive. And, in my opinion, he is a better driver than his brother. It was a nice recovery from that spin, too.
Wait til he gets more time under his belt.
(barelypure) People aren't bagging on him because he's a Hendrick driver. There's only one Hendrick driver that they bag on, and Kyle's got more class, he admits when he screws up.
I like the kid. I like his demeanor, I like his aggressiveness and I like his driving. There are a few drivers out there with more seat time that could learn something from this kid.

Stewart and Kyle Busch settle: - Kyle Busch said he and Tony Stewart hashed out their differences last weekend prior to the Auto Club 500 at California Speedway. Stewart had criticized Busch's driving ability after the Daytona 500. Busch said Saturday prior to qualifying for the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 that he and Stewart have cleared the air. "I was able to talk with him and get it over with and get it behind both of us," Busch said. "We were able to race against each other a little bit on Sunday and gave each other plenty of room, which was cool. We waved and said, 'Thank you' as we were passing each other. ... There's plenty more times throughout the year where I know we'll be racing and hopefully we can just keep it the way we did Sunday."(SceneDaily.com)(3-5-2006)

Maybe Tony thinks the Shrub ain't all that bad after all.

If Busch thinks that everything is okie dokie, he's more naive than he appears.

OK, so is this SST person a one post wonder just stirrin the pot?

No, I'm not a "one post wonder". I just happened to find this forum recently. Are you complaining that I posted and haven't been back in one whole day? I do have a life. Do you?

IMO Busch, aka Shrub, showed his imaturity by not backing off. As stated in a previous post he was all the way down, off the racing line, pushing the issue as always.

FWIW, I have been racing since 1970, first couple of years in drags in SS class, moved to circle in the mid 70's. I've held a NA$CAR license since the mid 90's as crew, owner and driver. I've driven the "bomber" class up to and including a Featherlite Modified. I don't think I know what I'm talking about when critiquing drivers, I do. I've hired and fired them. What's on your resume?

No need to get all riled up. This place has LOTS of one post wonders, and hopefully you'll have lots of posts here. Although, being snippy won't get you very far here. You have JOINED a forum, so become a part of it.

Thank you Ms Maj!

SST, it was a simple question, NOT a slam.

Calling someone named Busch "Shrub" isn't exactly mature :)
