2009 Nationwide Series champ. Guess that will take the sting off not getting into the Chase. :D

Uh oh.....I smell Kyle bashing ahead.

In a way, I actually feel a little sorry for Kyle. Sure, he had a couple of rough months over the summer. Sure, he's been an off-again, on-again asshat. But to miss the Chase by a mere 8 points? That's like what, only 2 positions?

That means if he hadn't tried to blow the engine at Chicagoland, he could have made the Chase. He knows it, and that's got to hurt. I wouldn't want to be in his position right now.

Also, there's still 8 races left to go in the Nationwide series. He's got a 200 point lead, but that can get washed away pretty quickly if he's not careful.

Someone once said something to the effect of that the true measure of a man is not when he's at the top, but when he's at the bottom. Kyle is right now at the lowest point of his career at the Cup level. It will be interesting to see how he rises above it in 2010, and the last 10 races of 2009.

I do not no doubt Kyle will win the Championship, and many many more races. He started out roughshod at Hendrick, having a Great #5 car to drive, but he didn't live up to his potential. Now he is the Franchise driver, and been dominating at times. But he still needs a little more chiseling to become a diamond. Keep the Outlaw attitude and drive the snot out of the racecar, but drop down to limited at best Truck and Busch series. Learn your team and quit the whining a bit, and boom, another dyanasty rivaling Gordon and Johnson, but better.

Watch Kyle go on a rip tear and win the last ten races. :D

Wonder if kyle has any regrets on the chop block of Tony. It cost him a spot in the chase.

...no chase.

Maybe he'll get 13th and they'll set a place at the kiddie table.

Doesn't #13 still get a Million dollar bonus at the end of the year? That's nothing to turn your nose up over.

If I was Kyle, I'd run the last 10 races flat-out. "Checkers or wreckers" as they say.

No, because <sniff> Tony is bad <blubber> he tried to win <whine> by putting me in the <wail> wall after I blocked him, not once but twice. Who does he <sniff> think he is anyway? MOMMY!

Why in the hell is everyone saying, or wanting, Kyle Busch to smash all the trophies now?!?!?

Folks, it was a rock n' roll move, he smashed a guitar. GET OVER IT!!!

:mad::mad::mad:

My thoughts exactly FH......I wish he had made the chase,..... but any pressure is off him now

This sums up Kyle Busch the best. He races to win, he loves winning races and wants to win every race.

The sport would be a lot more exciting if everyone raced for wins instead of points.

That is the most correct thing I have seen you say in the last three months.

Drive the doors off it.

Andy and GARF, what would you do if you were the driver. Points or go for the win?

Win by all means necessary! with 10 races left and I am not in the Chase. Now for the season would be a different note. I hate to say it, but a driver these days have to put on a good show all year, and Checkers or wreckers attitude would probrably land you with out a sponsor and a job.
