SAM GREENWOOD / GETTY IMAGESUpon further evaluation at the NASCAR Research and Development Center, the front springs from Kyle Busch's Winn-Dixie 250-winning Chevrolet did meet the minimum spring rate, NASCAR spokesperson Tracey Judd said.

NASCAR rules require both front springs to have a total spring rate of 3,000 pounds, and the springs from Busch's car were initially slightly under that total when measured in Daytona International Speedway's garage area after Friday's race.

But measurements on a more precise device at the R&D center in Concord, N.C., proved Busch's springs to be legal, so no penalties will be levied against Busch's No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports team.
