After watching the Busch (snow) race this evening where are all the comments and whining about Kyles aggressive driving.......I mean come on there had to be some....I mean did he show enough respect to the veteran drivers today....or should he just forfeit his win as to not upset a veteran driver, or better yet maybe he should call Tony and get his approval on the win today......LOL..........Congrats Kyle!

during the post race interview with busch.. what was kenseth laughing about?

Hey SteveOO7.....My point is the bad rap Bush has received this year is BS. .........hard to believe you couldn't figure that out :einstein:

You have to realize that in some areas any Hendrick driver is going to take grief from a subset of posters. I don't know if its because that next to Jack, the Hendrick teams dominate racing or what.
If you compare Kyle's driving style to, oh say Tony Stewart, I don't see where anyone, driver or fan, can say much of anything about one without condeming the other also. But, Tony has reached God-like status around here and he is never ever to be thought of negatively. Like a couple of others I won't name.
I suppose it the nature of being a fan(atical).

At one time or another, in every race that is run, every driver has their moments when aggression takes over.

Kyle is no more guilty than Tony, or Jeff, or Dale Jr, or Kurt, or any one else on the track.
The dirtiest, meanest driver I ever saw was Dale Earnhardt. Cale Yarbrough, David Pearson, and Bobby Allison would do whatever it took to improve their position.

Personally, I think we tend to say more about it now, because we are obsessed with the thought that a wreck has to be somebody's fault. In the past, I think we just chalked it up to a "racin' deal."

Kudos to that TRL. When racing began, it really was like the movie Days of Thunder in that these guys would without blinking an eyelash, slam another driver into the wall or spin them out. It was part of the sport. These days, with the sport costing so much and everything televised, even those guys in the booth who used to do this sort of thing, condone it. It's just part of growing the sport I suppose.

Now, now TRL. Be careful or you may hurt someone's feelings. We aren't allowed to even think those thoughts about some of today's drivers.
DW used to drive a pretty mean race car as well... :)

There are NO SAINTS in racing. We all like to moan and whine about one or another from race to race (my one to groan today is about Matt Kenseth cuz he bumped Jeff Gordon and cost him a wholebunch of positions in the last lap or 2). I think that the MEDIA IN YOUR FACE attitude is much more guilty than the drivers, crew, etc.

:XXROFL:

I'll think and say whatever I please about any driver. hehehe
Today was a perfect example of every driver showing their tempers. Talk about "punt, pass, & kick." :growl:

AND Kurt scored the winning field goal! :D

Harvick couldn't get to Kurt's bumper because he is just as good as some think he is, and certainly not the driver Kurt is.

Well if he was as good as he thinks he is...nah, that's too easy and besides it may upset some of the Harvick folks...and y'all know I'd never ( :) ) say anything to upset anyone...

If Harvick could have caught up then it would have been a great ending. There probably would have been more than shoving after the race.
