Decided not to join the Rosch Racing organization. Must have fell and hit his head. What was he thinking? Surely he has a better offer.

I know that Roush really wanted Kyle. I wonder if someone else got in touch with the young man...say Hendricks? :) There could be an agent involved here as well and told the boy to wait until he worked the other owners.

"Not too long ago, I was in the Charlotte area picking up an old school bus from Ken Schrader to tow my race car," Edwards said. "As we were driving down the interstate, three of the Roush transporters passed us and I thought to myself, 'what a dream it would be to drive for a team like that?'

"This is the opportunity of a lifetime."

That's awesome! Good for him!

If that is true, it's only logical. Hendricks is the man with the money and he leads with it. When will it ever end? :)

Most likely he got a better offer, also he will run ARCA and some limitted Busch races this year after he turns 18. My guess is too that Roush did not have a sponsor secured for the truck deal, this could have been a factor, also he might figure running ARCA and Busch will get him to WC quicker.

What a great deal for both Edwards and Busch. They both ended up with good teams.

Would not doubt that Jack,And Rick know more than us.There was not a lot of room at Jacks house.;)

This is great for Kyle, good for nascar too, there will be a rivalry with brothers in two different makes with two high profile owners. Lets hope Hendrick gives him good equipment.

coonhound,Do you think for one minute he would not.:) Nascar had a visit with the two rich men of Nascar,And this is the outcome.;)

Ya know, I'm thinkin to myself, boy Kyle sure does look alot like his brother Kurt. Poor thing.

When did looks make a racecar driver?Hell look how ugly the,Oh never mind.:D

I think it is kind of funny that Kyle Busch left Roush and his truck team after Roush left the truck open for over a year for him. My thoughts on why he left Roush for Hendricks is probably because he knows he will get to the Cup series quicker with Hendricks since Terry will be gone soon (I'm not bashing Terry, I think he is a great drive but shouldn't drive his carrer done the tube like D.W. did) and Roush has 5 Cup teams and all the drivers are on long-term deals.

Hopefully he will do well with Hendricks Motorsports this year in ARCA and BGN and hopefully go for the BGN championship in 2004.
