Kyle Larson, Danica Patrick Nationwide cars under scrutiny for modifications

I need glasses, someone please point me to where in the article linked it says the infraction involved weight.
Thankee berry much.

"The modification to the No. 34 Chevy was described by a garage source as “squaring off the trailing edge of the frame rails”

Andy strikes again.

They found a mod to the frame.NOWHERE in that story can I find them talking about about the car failing to make weight?

The modification to the No. 34 Chevy was described by a garage source as “squaring off the trailing edge of the frame rails” to decrease drag from the car and provide an aerodynamic advantage to the rear of the car. Three counts of drag is equal to one-tenth of a second on the racetrack. It is uncertain whether any similar altercations were made to the other three cars.

NASCAR said Patrick's No. 34 car was 1 of 2 random cars brought back to the R&D Center as part of the post-race inspection process.

NASCAR just told me that the No. 34 Nationwide Series car driven by Danica Patrick passed Daytona post-race inspection.

interesting NelsonPiquet Jr's car wasn't in the Turner Motorsports penalty mix. He was a whistle blower against Renault for a deliberate team order crash that ruined his F-1 career.
