Thought some of you might be interested to know they're going to show a short film tomorrow (7/28) covering the infamous incident.
L.W. Wright, the D.B. Cooper of racing.

In 1982 LW Wright claimed to have already competed in 43 BGN races all while 1982 was the first season of the series.
Seems like LW is still better at this stuff than the Denny Hamlin with the claim of having already racked up 10, 000 race starts a few years ago.

Denny should have claimed to have something like 10, 543 starts. Or something like I am almost at 10,000 with 9,543 starts not counting the heat races and few events that I am sure I forgot to track, and so forth with a few extra what nots to juice up the story.
A story needs a some granular details or natural slop to feel real. Just dishing out a 10k number doesn't feel credibile.

Ole LW got the thrill of a lifetime, racin' with the big boys!
