Ladies of ARCA at Talledega

Three young racers will be on the track October 5 for the ARCA race at Talledega. These three racers also happen to be female.

On September 18 20 ARCA drivers took to the highbanks for testing and al three of these drivers were there.

Posting the 4th fastest practice speed was young Christi Passmore of Pryor, OK. A graduste of the sprint car ranks she hopes someday to make her way to Winston Cup.

Posting the 5th fastest times was Tina Gordon after recovering from serious injuries earlier this season. She too would like to advance to NASCAR.

Posting the 7th fastest time was Deborah Renshaw. Ms Renshaw will be running in the BGN series next season. She has 4 start in the ARCA this season and 3 top 10 finishes.

As always nobody wins practice, but just as a note the driver sandwiched between these ladies with the 6th best time was Frank Kimmel.
 
hey is Tina Gordon the lady that was hurt here in Charlotte?
 
Yeah I would say Tina was injured at Charlotte in May.

T-boned following a spin Tina suffered a broken left tibia and fibula, broken left ankle and heel, broken bones in the left foot, broken big toe on left foot, broken little toe on right foot.

She had a metal rod inserted into the left leg running from teh knee to the ankle, the left ankle was put back together with a steel plate and 4 screws.

Tina was not expected to race again this season.

Tough cookie this one!:)

Deb Renshaw has earned this chance with the opportunity to move up to BGN.
I've heard of Christi Passmore, but know little.
