It's not dirt, but I didn't see a better fit. Langley is an asphalt track. I went this weekend, and lived to tell about it. But hey, it sure as hel beat the snooze fest that was the Nascar all star race.

Just thought I'd let ya know that I was at Langley this weekend with LuvRacin.com, and took a ton of pictures, and even wrote a short article about the place. To see 'em, just go to www.LuvRacin.com, and click on the Writers and Photographers link. About halfway down the right hand column, you see Larry Burnett (VaDirt-that's me). My pictures and article are there, as well as some stuff from recent weeks at Potomac and VMS.



The Langley Speedway page should also be updated shortly to include the latest slide show as well as some new local driver features.
 
Thanks for sharing. From your pictures, I can get a feeling for the track. I enjoy looking at all of them. :) Drivers/cars are important, but I like to see the track, pit, and stands too. :)

What sucks is I get that at work too. The only time I can see the pictures is at home. And I even work with the guys that block stuff. Oh well, guess I'm here to work, not to look at racing pictures:)

I took over 400 pictures at the track this weekend, of everything I could. Went through 2 set of batteries and started a 3rd. I've only had this camera a month or so, and this is my second outing with it. It's not a professional digital SLR setup or anything, but it's better that what I had, and I'm still learning some of the settings and functions.

Everytime I go to Hampton Roads, I make plans to go to Langley.

It rains every single time. :mad:
