The car will almost be ready this weekend. Camden Speedway was flooded last week so they pushed the start of the points back a few weeks witch was good for us.

Here is the layout i got today for the wrap.

I'm going to get "The Rose Garden" moved down and put a photo of dads book there and a link to his web-site. Also, i'm going to see what the number will look like filled in with a bright orange and then yellow. I just think the number needs something. I know its a little blury but its sized down from 12 feet or so.

Thanks TRL!

I asked her to make a few changes with the colors. She sent me the pass side of the car today. I like the yellow.

I think both seats in our car are Kirkeys. the covers kinda fit loose, but nothing too bad.

Started 6th in heat. Was running 3rd comming out of 2. Finished 3rd in heat.

Feature: Started 3rd, was 2nd comming out of 2. Was running the leader down when the car jumped time and busted a water line. Looks like ill be out for a few weeks

Knock a tooth off the timing chain or something? Jumping timing aint easy to happen nor fix.

Water line's an easy fix.

It's jumped time before a few years ago. Not really sure why it happaned, but we was running a very radical timming set up. No one has done want we are doing, so crap like this is bound to happan. I'm sure i'll probley need the head worked on and might need some new pistons.

Looks like i'll be watching the races from the stands for a while.

If i finished 2nd in that race i would of been tied for the points lead, if i could of won i would of had the lead. But with a 13 point races for the season and 10 left i'll miss a month or so. so looks like i will not be able to repete as champ. pretty disapointed.

Update from Nick: He's running a UMP open wheel mod for the first time tonight at Clarksville.

That was a long night! I could never get the car to turn, seemed really tight and we changed it each time i pulled off the track. Overall im fairly happy for 1st night in the car, but wish i could of done better, But i got next year to learn the car.

Qual 19
Heat 6
Feature 17

I found it on racingjunk.com saturday morring and a few hours later she was mine! It needs a little TLC, but over all its faster and cheeper to get it running then to fix my currrent car.

So far i have striped the rearend and took it out, it had a 9in but we are going to put a floater rearend in it. Got the old seat out and the belts will go to the dump, they are stamped 97, so there 3 years were up 11 years ago! Ive seen the car run before, i just hope they were not racing the old belts!

Hoping to have the camaro ready to race in a few weeks, gotta do something to clear my mind of a lot of bullchit thats been going on. If you would like to sponsor me, send me a DM, could use any help what so ever.
