Larry did it now

I like Chase Elliot and I think he is a good driver...but I agree with Larry... this is not a powder puff series these guys are paid a lot of money to race these cars and get results for their sponsors and put a good show on for the fans. If Chase was pissed then he should have gotten up on the wheel and raced that dude hard and if he bent the car up doing that I wouldn't have a problem with it if I was a crew guy on his team...but to just start banging on him and destroying a car that I had spent countless hours working on would piss me off. I wouldn't be surprised if his crew gave him a stern talking to after the race was over.

Racing emotions. Gotta luv it. Gets people talking for/against. Driver against driver is good stuff. Emotion..... something that is severely lacking these days in this sport.

It sure got this weeks' Big Larry riled up. Thought he might pop a neck vein there for a second.

The fact that Chase had to get out of the gas to give Ricky the space to make that move says to me that Ricky had no business making it. Of course Chase isn't going to wreck his damn car to prove a point, he's trying to make the playoffs smh. He knows they don't have the speed right now to make up for dumb **** moves like that. Good on him.

Btw, Austin Dillon said Ricky would beat Chase's ass in Radioactive LOLOL. Ricky can't even fend off his girlfriends.

I would hardly consider those cars "torn up". Where was Larry after Martinsville last year when Chase drove Hamlin into the wall post-race? Or Charlotte in 2014 when Hamlin, Brad, and Tony were all acting like jackasses on the cool down/pit road?

Larry Mac....last week, waxes nostalgic about the two most memorable wrecks at Dover, this week says he has zero tolerance for tearing up race cars.
Boy I hate coming to Larry or Lil' Larry's defense but those were two completely different scenarios. Last week the Lil' version of Larry was simply talking about memorable crashes at Dover. This weeks bigger version of Larry was talking about the action after the race. Not even close to being the same thing.

Yeah, I know they're different. I was just making what I thought was a funny observation. :D

Unless Larry is paying the bills for torn up race cars, I’m not sure anyone in the business gives a **** about his opinion on how drivers race.

This is a nothing burger. Chase gave RSJ room to be an idiot and then let him know about it afterwards. It’s been done hundreds of times.

Forward to Charlotte.

I do, and I agree with him.

Drivers have been knocking each other around for years. I don't think Chase said anything about getting raced too hard. He got cut off, thought he had position on Stenhouse.

Exactly. Larry is looking for something that's not there.

If you want to hear a driver complain about being raced too hard, just listen to Kyle Busch's radio every week.

Why does it matter?

Just maybeeeeeeeee, his response would been the same as the 9. But I guess we will never know since he isn't a driver, just a bald headed on big mouth that cries for attention.

Bingo. Unlike RSJ, Chase has a knack for racing for the big picture.

If Chase keeps his foot in it, they both wreck and lose many points and fall out of playoff contention. Chase let off as not to wreck and lost 1 point. Cooler heads prevail.

Even as a Chase fan I still stick by Ricky did NOTHING wrong. We see people miss the playoffs by 1 or 2 points sometimes. You got to do everything you can for every point you can just in case you need said point to make the playoffs. A lot of you calling it wrong would be perfectly okay with it if Chase made the same move.

RSJ did nothing wrong as far as taking a risk at the end of a race. Chase seriously gave him slack.

Although between RSJ leaving Chase out to dry at Dega and then not cutting it close enough with his slide job, I doubt Chase offers him anymore favors moving forward.

Yeah Chase gave him slack. I just find the ones who think Ricky did anything wrong funny. I mean these points matter if you aren't able to pull off a win. So you go for them points. Dega now is another story as Ricky surely didn't try to go for points or a win there, but it's how it is nowadays where people just don't want to work with someone not in the same type of car as them.
