I have been debating if I was going to go to that race tonight, but I raced slot cars last night until around 11:00pm and I'm racing slot cars again Fri and Sat night also, so I think I may just stay close to home today. I just don't feel like sitting in 90 miles of traffic today, and then after the race have that late 90 mile drive back home. But, damn it's always a fun race to attend. I can tell I'm getting old....I have turned down going to the river in Arizona this weekend and going to a good midget race. Ventura is where Alex Bowman did a lot of his early days of racing.
