We're looking into going LVMS next year and were wondering if anyone has used any of the package deals that are offered for past races. Also any tips on parking and traffc would help.

I also think you can take public transportation from the strip.

I went to Las Vegas this past year.

I didn't do a package deal. I purachsed everything seperately.

I didn't find the traffic to be all that bad compared Texas or Charlotte. In fact I had a much easier time getting in both days than I have ever had a Texas. Getting out Sunday was lengthy, but not any more so than at Texas or Charlotte. I actually thought the traffic was a litte better than those 2 tracks.

Well, right now I think seat location will be the deciding factor. How are the sight lines from ro 20 and up? They have Earnhardt Terrace tickets on sale right now, but most packages are offering section 1 or 3 rows 20 and up. How far is the track from the strip? Also, public transportation was mentioned, how quick is that when leaving?

I've been going to Vegas since the second year it was open. The first year we were rookies at the track so we got stuck in the parking lot for over 5 hours after the race on Sunday. That was before they improved the access routes dramatically too, so now it is much better. Last year we took the shuttle from the Sahara on saturaday and sunday. It gets you to the track early, so plan on having plenty of time to look around. When the race is over, it is a first come first serve basis for getting back to you hotel, meaning when a bus fills , it leaves. You have to wait for the shuttles to come back, so if you don't make the first round you have about an hour and a half before they get back. I found the shuttle to be really cool, although if you want to take your own vehicle or a rental and tailgate i have some good tips on that. Pm me and i'll give you the details. We sit in section 2F White, Row 25, great seats , took us about 3 years of upgrading to get them. I would suggest not sitting any lower than 20 rows up to see the entire track or at least get a decent view from where you are sitting. We don't do the package deals, we stay at the Monte Carlo, have a great price for 5 nights, but we do the package deal on the tickets. That being qualifying,Busch, and Cup,which seemed to be the best way to upgrade to the tickets we now have. Hope that helps you out a little.
