ALLEN, TX (July 2) – The World of Outlaws Sprint Series has fined and reprimanded former champions Sammy Swindell and Danny Lasoski for recent rules infractions, series Technical Director Martin Willis announced Friday.
Swindell was fined and put on probation for six races after speeding through the pit area and throwing his steering wheel at the scales and hitting an official after his car violated the weight rule following the NAPA Classic at Knoxville Raceway. The series fined Lasoski for failing to stop during a 32nd-lap red period at Dodge City Raceway Park June 22nd.
