Hasn't been fun. A slow draining bathroom sink was the Monday evening project. Ended up having to disassemble the trap and ended up with the "The leak that defies fixing". Tuesday morning installed a all new P-trap. So far, so good.

Then my son says the washer won't enter spin cycle and the tubs full of water. I'm thinking the worst, why not? He diagnoses it as the lid safety switch which we by-pass. New switch is $75 from Whirlpool parts,$26 from "easyapplianceparts", ordered yesterday at 11 am and it was on the doorstep at 9 am this morning. Exact same part. Things are good.

Back to yesterday, an hour later washer overflows and floods downstairs bath/laundry room. When moving the washer the drain hose got kinked. Things happen, not so good but not really bad.

Last night my wife went to watch my son's hockey game. Her car was broken into and her purse stolen. Up until 2 am dealing with police then calling credit card companies to cancel the cards. Within roughly an hour after the theft they used one card. Overnight they tried to use the various cards 6 times, each time declined.

Now we have to fill out police reports in 3 additional towns. PITA but not a deal breaker, not all that bad.

Wife and son dropped the car off at a friends body shop. He calls and only $750 only because "you helped me out long time ago". Good karma returns.

My son just called, they got rearended stopped at a light. They're fine but his car is hurting. The other driver was female, mid 30's, drunk, driving on a suspended license and no insurance.

They're now home safe and sound. Think we're going to sit around the shanty and put a good buzz on,,,,:beerbang:
