I watched the show, and Boris made an absolute horse's butt of himself. He and Marcos were both interviewed. Marcos made a genuine attempt to apologize and get things settled. Boris would have none of it, even said he was madder on Tuesday than on Sunday.

Grow up, Boris. Chit happens on the track --- deal with it. And it's not like he's an angel --- I remember several times he's taken people out.

It was pretty pitaful (sp) how he is acting.

"But if he wants to come back and say that he wants to hit me and so forth, well, it's a shame he says that stuff because if it does happen then we'll just both go down in the dirt together and have a good rumble."
". . . I take responsibility. I bumped him and got him loose but once he got hooked in my bumper that was it. It was just the way it went down. I take responsibility for it. I've apologized to it and I'll apologize to him again. It's just one of those racing deals. I just hope he doesn't want to retaliate because if he does it'll be a mess."

if boris still has hopes of a full time ride he is killing them by acting like this. Owners dont want to put up with bs like this that goes on past sunday or monday.

Let me preface my statement by saying; I don't agree with Boris. If he has plans on wrecking Ambrose he needs to just shut up and do it, if for little else his sponsor's sake. However, they are getting some face time. :)

Anyway....

In Boris' defense, he doesn't exactly need NASCAR to make ends meet. Plus, most owners are looking at the fact that their car got wrecked, and if the driver's pissed and making waves, the sponsor is getting highlighted everytime that highlight rolls. Boris is a pretty outstanding driver in other series. Would NASCAR full-time be the pinnicle for him? Yes. However, unlike other drivers in NASCAR, Boris isn't going to go back to dirt tracks and half-assed equipment if he pisses NASCAR off. While I do not agree with his actions, I think what we are seeing a glimpse of one driver that doesn't need NASCAR. Much to the chagrin of the France family, the whole "you need us more than we need you" arguement doesn't apply to Boris. (see also Robbie Gordon) I think it's a glaring difference underlined by knowing these types of drivers are in demand, and they'll simply go someplace else.
