Step 3 of the Road to the Series begins tonight. The long-suffering Cubs and the small-market Marlins take the field at around 8:00 pm tonight to begin what may be the most improbable NLCS match-up ever. In the AL, it's the Evil Empire vs. the BoSox, beginnong tomorrow night - same time as the NLCS game 2 (don't ask me why). Predictions and comments, anyone?

I still say that it will be a Red Sox-Cubs World Series. The Marlins are going to run out of gas, and I don't think the Yankees have the desire this year that they need to go all the way.

I hope you are right, and if you are Harry Carey will roll over in his grave.

HOLY COW! CUBS WIN, CUBS WIN.

Harry was a great announcer.

I really hope the Cubs win it all. :)

I would also absolutely love it if the Red Sox could knock the Yanks out of the playoffs. That being said, I really don't see it happening. For the Sox to win it I think Pedro would have to pitch 3 times. Because he had to pitch game 5 Monday Night he will likely not pitch until game 3 and likely in game 7 if it comes to that. Their pitching after Pedro and Lowe is shaky at best.

Go Cubs!!!

I am not a big baseball fan. But It's been so long for the Cubbies I hope they can walk away with the title of World Champions. Then we can watch the morons and gang members burn cars and trash Chicago. :(
