;) How about changing the rules for ALL sports like NASCAR has changed the last 10 race rules... Who would be in the world series? How about the superbowl? And Lance Armstrong? I am still in shock and cannot understand how anyone could claim to be the YEARS CHAMPION if indeed another driver is the correct champion.
Don't come in here and say it is the rules and the champion is the champion... That don't wash. It takes a WHOLE season to produce a champion. And that is correct in all sports.

I know Football and Basketball have a Playoff system. There could be a Team in both sports that Dominate all year but if they don't play the same way during the playoffs and get beat thier out, no matter how good they were all year.

IMO in the champ race over the years it's always came down to the final 2 or 3 maybe 4 in the last few races, with the new rule package you have 10 contenders, but if i was in 1st place with a big lead and had to have my points lead erased because of these new rules i would be pissed, but that's the way it goes i guess.

i'm just wondering about one more thing...many people talk about beating a dead horse like it's a terrible thing to do...but i think beating a living horse would be even worse.

Betsy,
I'm OK with changing the rules on the one-ball sports. Perhaps the team with the most players that get arrested could qualify for the playoffs?

World series? Superbowl? I could care less. Who won last year anyway? Maybe the winners on those two should have a bike race around France?

NASCAR final points 2004:
1) Kenseth
2) Bush
3) Sadler
4) Jr.
5) Stewart

I don't agree with how they are changing everything in NASCAR.
