This kid is next level talent. What he has done on the track is no different than many top level drivers in Cup. Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Ross Chastain,Ricky Stenhouse, Joey Logano, have all had their moments with over aggressive driving so to me this is a nothing burger. Carson is gonna go through the ups and downs like all of the others drivers I mentioned and he will learn where to draw the line. The funny thing is how all of the drivers mentioned are upset with him but they all had run in's many times during their careers and were doing the exact same thing ( and still are). Bottom line is they know they have a young up and coming talent that they will have to deal with for years to come. This kid is taking them to the woodshed in a under funded race team, I have no doubt he will get picked up by one of the top 4 teams and will be a huge success. Maybe that's what they are really concerned about, he's stealing their thunder and I have no doubt he will continue to do so. I'm getting ready to buy some of his Merch! All I can say is....... Carson, keep it up!

Carson Hocevar is going to continue to drive the way he drives and that is my take. Stenhouse is still waiting for an apology. They might talk, but I would bet Hocevar isn't going to apologize. He finished 2nd in the race. He is much better at moving people than he was in his earlier years and it is obvious that he is getting more out of a slower car than some drivers are getting out of faster ones. Hence a lot of his driving style is because of that.

I was very impressed at the Coke 600 watching him duel with Hamlin and Byron. It's a shame the engine grenaded, he had a chance to win that thing

I think he’s slowly becoming “my driver”. I’ve got guys I pull for more than others every week, but since Newman retired I haven’t had one certain driver that I always watch and root for and he’s starting to fill that spot.

Young, actually has personality, and is consistently outdriving his equipment. He’s on track for a long and successful career in the sport.

I've been on him since he was running a lot of truck races and some dirt races. He's a real talent. It was a coup that Spire snagged him.

He does appear to have some skills driving the race car, but we have heard this story before many many times. Perhaps most recently was Ty Gibbs. This is Gibbs 4th year and approaching 100 races in a cup car with no wins and only flashes of greatness.
Let's not get too carries away with this Hocevar guy just yet.

I think 23XI is in the top 4. They have the resources to win every week and Trackhouse isn't far behind
Yep. Teams in the top 10 in owners points. 23XI and Trackhouse are in there. The 77 that Hocevar drives it the highest Spire at 17th place. Hocevar is also 17th in driver points. One ahead of 18th Stenhouse lol.

Hocevar seems to have the intangibles that you can’t teach. He’s fast and reminds me of a guy that could get a top 5 in a 10th place care. He also has that look you see when drivers are getting ready to get their first win. I know he’s a little rambunctious at times but that’s all part of his learning curve. If he has a personality that Rick Hendrick can live with he could end up driving the 9 or 48 in a few years.
