The season that is. My Bristol season tickets just arrived in the mail and I'm ready to go. 35 days for me until I leave for my first Cup weekend of 2012. How many of you are heading to the races this year? And by races, I'm talking about Cup, Nationwide, or Truck weekends. That's great and all if you support your favorite local tracks but that's for another thread in another forum.

We've only got Bristol & Martinsville lined up at the moment but will probably end up at a couple more. Probably Pocono and possibly Dover.

I will go to Fontucky, Phoenix (at least once) Chicagoland, SanappaNoma and Texas in November.

I would be going to TMS in April too but the NA$$CAR weekend is the same weekend as the Long Beach Grand Prix. And since I have been to each and every LBGP (36 years and counting) I will be staying in SoCal.

Dover as always but hopefully it turns out like last year and I get a suprise trip to another like I did for the July Daytona race.

Have Fun at Bristol DP, I'll be starting of the season at The Shootout.

I have Bristol season tickets. Going to the All-Star race also. I love Martinsville. My friend that went there with me is no longer able to go so I don't get to go up there anymore.

ChicagoLand? That's a long way from the others u listed. My brother-n-law just moved there. Hmmmmmmmmmm

A friend of mine moved to Illinois several years ago. I have been a few times. It's not the greatest fan experience, however. They won't even let you carry a bottle of water thru the gates...

Bristol, camping or tailgating?

Just curious, does this mean that you will be in the starting lineup for the race? I think the fact that you are attending this years event automatically qualifies you for the field. Good Luck. I'll be rooting for you.

We'll make it to Daytona one of these years to start off the season. I want to do two weeks down there when we do finally get to make the trip.

Okay DP I'll be the tall lanky guy in the Sprint Tower section wearing a Bass Pro Shops hat and RCR gear there'll be a Beautiful blonde beside me in Tony gear. I havent missed a Shoot Out in years really enjoy it!
The ARCA race earlier in the day can be interesting also.

We always hit up both Dovers, both Richmonds, 1 Pocono and maybe 1 Martinsville. Used to go to both Martinsvilles when I lived in Virginia, now I am too far to travel there. I only do Richmond twice because its my favorite race to go to and its on Saturday nights.... You cant beat a Sat night race..

Agreed! The first time I went to Chicago it was a Sunday race - and it was a horrible experience. The heat and the humidity were nearly unbearable. My next trip there was for a Friday night N'wide race and a Saturday nite CUP race. It was spectacular! But they only did the nite race for one year, then it was back to Sunday...
