Colin Braun on the pole.

I'm rootin' for Tayler Malsam and Brian Scott.

I like Buscher but I'm not sure I'd be putting a lot of stock in his ARCA win if I was Mikey, that was much more about luck than anything.

Anyone catch earlier today when Dunlap said Johnny Sauter was going to win the truck championship this year. Interesting pick don't you think?

Damn :(

11 truck needs a new spotter... nearly took Scott out in lap 4 finished the job the 2nd time.

Now, we'll see how this new rule takes place.

What were they smoking when they came up with this "fuel OR tires" rule?

Fuel or tires, this is the silliest way to save money. So is the jack guy the gas guy too? Do they still have different guys doing the positions on the pit crew and someone is always sitting down during a stop, or is some poor guy jumping back and forth?

Terry Cook forced below the yellow... looks like he tried to give the position back and Buescher wouldn't pass.

Black flag.

I've gotta call :bsflag: on that. He tried to give the position back. I don't think Buescher realized that being a rookie but Cook went to the inside and Buscher followed suit.

I'd like to know what happened there.

How easy is it to give back the position on this type of track anyway? Seems to me when the guy lifts he'll get plowed into and there's another truck next to him so that means go to the apron and straight to the back.

It's official this tires or gas is the dumbest thing I ever saw.

I get it. James Buescher's the greatest driver ever because he won his first ARCA race (so did Kyle Petty) and won his first ARCA race at Daytona (so did Chase Montgomery).

this rule reminds me of the one NASCAR made after Mike Rich got killed at Atlanta on pit road..... anyone remember that one? Before they went to a pit road speed limit, at Daytona that year ( was it 91?) they had half the field pit one lap, rest next lap..... odd qualifiers pit first, even went next. They gave out stickers to tell which lap you could pit on, BIG HEAD ACHE....... sometimes I wonder what NASCAR is thinkin........ I don't see this rule lasting. If they want to save the teams money, go back to what ya had when ya started the series, halftime..... That was neat, and it seperated trucks from other series. Short sprint race, timed pit break, then go after it again.....

These tracks are all starting to look like Rockingham with the tire situation.

Yes, I remember that. They do that here for the Old Dominion "Big One" 200... 100 laps All American Series, halftime break 15 lap sprint car feature, final 100 laps.

they're looking for the best place to have a big wreck...

THERE IT IS - I SAW THAT COMING!

Are there any trucks left? Big mess this one is. Guess Crafton looks like a genius dropping to the back

but hey, Mikey did let everybody know that Buesher was "perfect"...lol.... he did nothin wrong.......

Mikey: "What if you're James Buescher, 18 years-old, racing for the lead and get taken out by a veteran? ...when you're supposed to be the one making the mistakes?"

Let's ask one of the rookie ARCA competitors that was taken out by a veteran getting impatient and bumpdrafting in the middle of the corner:mad:

Things were going great. I got shuffled back to fifth-place, but was still hanging strong. Unfortunately, it came to an end on lap 29. I was taken out by someone who wasn't using his head, but it is what it is. As soon as he hit me, there was no saving it. Michael Annett hit me after I spun and the demolition derby began. I closed my eyes and took each hit until I came to a stop. I was just devastated and couldn't say much. I dropped the window net and held in the tears of heartbreak. My team and I couldn't believe that our day ended so soon. But I can walk away from this race with my head held high because I know people saw the impact that my team and I made and hopefully realize, as Eddie would say, that's how we roll!

Can't blame anyone there. Close, hard racing. Onion's truck got just a little bit out of shape and Buescher was right there. Those trucks have been handling like **** all night -- but it makes for some fantastic racing.

wasn't blamin anyone, was just gettin tickled at Mikey....... he needs pom poms. lol

Like I said, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in Buescher winning at Daytona. He's a good driver, don't get me wrong. But every other quality car (minus Logano) was taken out because someone wasn't thinking bumpdrafting in the corner.

The in-truck cameras tell it all- the trucks are bouncing around like a Mexican jumping bean.

ouch..... The first lick was baaaad, but that second one is the one that hurts..... all the air been knocked outta ya, can't brace. geeze. Glad to see he's out and walkin....

ole Dale Junior..... uh, I mean Chad Mcumbee is advertisin the heck outta Aaron tonight......lol

This should be interesting hold on to your hats everyone it's going to be a bumpy ride:eek::eek:

Maybe not since half the trucks are already in pieces back in the hauler
