Kinda of a different twist to nascarwomen's thread...

What kind of sponsors do you think should be involved in NASCAR that either:

1. Were a part of NASCAR and left due to money problems or
2. A new company that should be involved

STP
Gatorade
K&K INsurance
Coors (not silver bullet)
Purolator
Wix

Does Realtree have a team? They should, they would have pretty sweet paint schemes. I would also like to see Coors Banquet Beer back in it, they should go back to Miller High Life too, considering the new commercial scheme is geared toward "manliness" and Lite tastes like urine.

Realtree is an associate sponsor of Kevin Harvick, they were planning to run a paint scheme for the second Bristol race in 2003, hopefully they'll run some in 2004.

Sponsors I would want to return are Pennzoil and STP.

Sponsors I would want to see get involved are:

FedEx, U.S Navy and Ace Hardware

I'd like to see an airline like United or Delta.
An entertainment company such as RCA or Panasonic. Those computer companies like Dell, Apple or Gateway might also be a possibility.

I would like to see STP back on the 43!!
Airlines might be a good possibiltiy if they did not have money troubles.

Computer companys such as those mentioned above would be good but I belive they would try to get NASCAR to become more computerized like F1!

McDondalds, Buger King, KFC I would liek to see return as well as the fast foods that have not been in NASCAR.

ANY sponsor that is willing to help make NASCAR more main streem

STP, Hoosier, Copehagen (they got the money), Hooters (just got to find a good driver), Zippo

it would be cool to see a Bud Light car,

you'll never see hoosier and my pick would be wal-mart

A few sponsors that have left that I can think of off the top of my head include: Exide (#99), Citgo(99), Hot Wheels(44), Phillips(7), Sprint(45), Mobil 1(12), McDonalds(94), John Deere(97), Zerex(7), Skoal(33) and Kodiak (41).

Think how lucrative of an ad campaign the beer companies would have if they had both a "light" and "regular" car...that might end up being stupid like hte "bud bowl" though.

I really would like Maxwell House to have a larger role in NASCAR, that paint scheme that Steve Park ran for Chance 2 Motorsports at Las Vegas in '03 was really sharp.

Nesquik, always liked that paint scheme.
Bob Evans
Fina
Coca-Cola, I know they are involve in NASCAR but don't sponsor a team. They need to bring back the Mello-Yello car.
Skoal
John Deere
Folgers
Phillips 66
Country Lemonade
Cartoon Network

I'd like to see some music companies get involved, like Yamaha and Fender. Some sponsors I'd like to see return are Zerex, Snickers, Skoal, Burger King (because I hate McDonalds), Meineke, and Maxwell House/Folgers.

Jack Daniels, but nascar frowns on hard liquor, labatt blue for us canadians

If you're gonna go Whiskey, you might as well go Bourbon.

You'll never see wal-mart. The world's largest retailer doesn't want to alienate any potential customer. NASCAR fans sometimes are a little partisan.

Where is Coca-Cola? They have the resources.

I'd also love to see Pepsi actually take a bigger role in NASCAR, maybe sporting it's own family of drivers so it could rival Coca-Cola in terms of the revenue and marketing it has gained from the sport so far.

IN reference to my earlier post, I read somewhere that High Life is sponsoring a Busch car? anyone know anything on that?
