According to the guys at Motor Trend, Audi AG is interested in making their Volkswagen brand the 5th automaker to compete in NASCAR.

As soon as the fuel injection comes out there will be more, guaranteed. I've read in magazines for some time know saying that fuel injection is what Nissan, Audi/VW and BMW have been waiting on. BMW may have lost interest by now but I'm hoping.


I welcome it. 5 years from now it's going to be Chevy and Ford vs the rest of the world. Yes, I also predict Dodge will be gone.

I predicted the Dodge thing before reading the article. If Penski is involved with VW getting in then Dodge is gone for sure. Wow.
