What drivers do you like and hate and mostly why
RobbyGfan, your opinion is respected, however it is regularly contradicted by people in daily contact with the individual and the sport.Originally posted by RobbyG Fan@Jul 9 2003, 03:24 PM
I like every driver EXCEPT Junior, Jeff Gordon, and Kevin Harvick. I mainly dont like Kevin or Jeff because they feel they are the crown royals of Nascar, they are too into themselves and I dont like that. Junior seems cool, but the Nascar bias has made me get sick of him.

Either you have never read or chosen to ignore comments from other drivers, media people ....................................Originally posted by RobbyG Fan@Jul 9 2003, 05:15 PM
Robby G FanYou know what, you are right, because it goes both ways. That last line in your quote is the key. Im only basing my thoughts off of Jeff Gordon from what I have seen in interviews an everything................
As I said......................................
And if people base thier opinions on Robbie and his latest remarks re: JeffGordon and his religious beliefs, well, you can understand why there are fans who take a negative view of a driver. Anything good is negated by one stupid remark. With Robbie it is an uphill battle going back to his early years.
Consider how long it will take Tony Stewart to rid himself of the bad boy image and how long it will take Robbie to overcome the image he carries or how long it will take, if ever, for anti-Gordon fans to stop saying Jeff is a whiner, although that standard is all in the eyes of the beholder.
On the other hand, I look at Robbie and his latest round of comments and on-track efforts as trying to get into the head of Harvick and Jeff Gordon. He knows who he has to beat so why not screw with thier mind a little. Why not try to take an advantage??? Of course this might come back to bite him where he sits but time will tell.![]()
