What happen to the background? Mine is just plain white.

AAAAARGH. The counter is bogging down your site. I'm stuck waiting 15 to 30 seconds for that thing to reload on every page.

I like the premise but it's a dog.
 
Thanks for the countdown Paul. Now I know how long I have to wait, but then again football is on so it won't be that bad.
 
YEs it does bog down a little but i do like it!! One question Febuary 10th is that the 500 or the shootout?

83 days seems so far away!! How will i make it pass faster? I don't watch Football and rarely watch basketball! On the weekends I mostly watch homeimprovemnet shows on PBS, HGTV and TLC.

I like the countdown thingy. It has not slowed down at all for me.
 
Me either, but better to have no slowdown for everyone, as opposed to slowdown for just a few.
 
Hmm, decent idea...I'll look into that. Will probably be pretty tough to do.
 
I liked it and it did taje a few seconds to load, but I was able to read the board while it was loading. It could have been the counter you used. I like the option of having it on or not. I would use it even if it did bog down a little.

Just keep up the good work on the board Paul. We don't care if something messes up the board, as long as we have the board we are happy!!
 
I have cable but i see how it could be a big problem with those without it!!
 
Even with a cable modem at work and dsl at home I suffered long delays waiting for that clock to kick in. Glad it's gone.

I'll bet Paul finds another more efficient way to do a countdown.
