I didn't believe this was real when I first saw it but it is.
One of the greatest skiers of all time will return to the world stage at age 40.
She will compete in two low-tier international races at Copper Mountain this week and plans to return to the World Cup for the races at St. Moritz next week.

Idk about this. No doubt about her greatness but she'll be by far the oldest athlete in the women's world cup and she's been out for 5 years now.

24th and 27th out of 40 athletes at Copper Mountain, the gap to the front wasn't huge though.

Making it back to the top in the world cup os a long shot.

I'd like to see her qualify for the Olympics. But it'll be hard. Father Time is undefeated.

But Lindsey Vonn AND Amber Glenn (figure skater) making it in would give me a ton of reasons to be invested. (I'm a big Amber Glenn fan.)

I'd love to see her do well but going 90 mph on skis with an artificial knee is dangerous af.
I hope she knows what she's doing.
