Lineup question....

Previous race winner gets #1 stall. I forgot how the others get theirs. I think it is based off the starting lineup.

Chase has Pit stall 1 though? Shouldn't it be Byron then? It kinda appears to go by lineup and Chase finishing 2nd last week with a high points position could give him the pole. And the 22 taking the very first stall like his crew chief likes tells me they got to choose at their low starting position. So it probably goes same way.

50% speed of the crew's fastest stop at the last race, 20% driver's fastest in-out laps, 30% average speed of car on pit road for all stops. Lowest total picks first. :p

Does the lineup still determine the order the teams get to pick pit stalls?
I have no idea, there are people who get paid to figure it out. Here is the one for Xfinity today

I would prefer some sort of thing where the drivers fastest lap in one race, determines the starting lineups for the next race... would be easy to understand and television networks would love it cause it would be another thing they could overhype during a live race and throw graphics all over the place...

I can even hear the commentary...

Jeff Burton: “TURNING A FAST LAP IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!” “IT HELPS TO BE FAST!!!

but seriously, now that we’ve had many months of randomized draws and things like that... I think it’s fair game to complain just a bit and atleast throw out an idea or two.

I want it to be back in the drivers hands moreso than just basing it off the standings and other equations. The only math we should be required to consider during a race, is how many cans are in someones beer can tower in the seats next to us.
