Last week my friend at Universal gave a copy of the new Shooter Jennings album because he thought I would like it. I had never really heard Shooter's stuff before, I only knew that he was the son of Waylon Jennings which made me figure that album must stink because I assumed that Shooter was only using his dad's name to be famous. However to my surprise the album turned out to very good. Shooter has a really good sound of his own. His music has a good blend of country and rock music that makes him stand out.
