Local author and award winning writer for the Bristol Herald Courier, David McGee, unveiled his latest book about Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday at the Bristol Public Library.
McGee's latest offering, "Tales of Bristol Motor Speedway", is a collection of remembrancesfrom throughout racing history and is his third book chronicling racing's history at Bristol.
McGee has authored two other books about BMS entitled "Bristol Motor Speedway" and "Bristol Dragway" in Arcadia Publishing's Images of Sports series. He has also served as the lead announcer for BMS since 1998.
The book is available for purchase on-line and in bookstores throughout the Tri-Cities region.
