Local sports writer isn't buying the change

Don't know who this guy is but he doesn't know how TV coverage works in racing. Not the race broadcast but the multitudes of news shows. Who is gonna show up on every local, regional and Network sports cast that show race highlites?

The camera follows the brightly painted (with all the prominant sponsors logos) crazy man's car that winds up spinning wildly or crashing spectacularly, shown repeatedly from all angles (the better to read the sponsor's names and see the logos) and exposure is the name of the game in advertising.
