Local teen, Kyle Hall sets his sights on NASCAR
He learned to ride a scooter before a bicycle and raced go-karts before entering the second grade. By the time Kyle Hall turned 15, he was competing in the Legends racing circuit and winning races against adult challengers. When he was 16, Kyle won three races, ended up second in points and was given rookie of the year honors.
Now that Kyle has reached the ripe old age of 17, he is upping the level of competition yet again – concentrating his racing efforts on the tracks of North Carolina, where the competition is tough, the races long, and the fields are packed.
This year, Kyle and his No. 69 Chevrolet late model stock car have been racing at Southern National Raceway in Kenly, NC. The determined racer has won four of 12 races he has entered. With ten races to go, Hall and crew – father David Hall, Crew Chief, Herman Grant, Robbie Brown, Charles Downs, and Michael Hall are working hard to win even more.
