Hey everyone,
I've finally got my own page now at LuvRacin.com. I started covering local racing for Virginia Motor Speedway, taking pictures and doing driver features, and now I'm also even a featured reporter there. The pictures aren't great, but they're getting better, and I'm having a blast doing it.

Go to www.luvracin.com, click on Writers/Photographers, and I'm about halfway down in the right-hand column. You can also click on Virginia and then Virginia Motor Speedway, and see some of the driver features we've done so far this year.

By the way, if you regularly head to the local tracks in your area, LuvRacin.com always needs more people to cover local tracks.

Awesome. I need to get down there sometime. Only dirt track I have within 50 miles is that crappy Potomac Speedway and their crappy wooden busted seats. Heck, even Capital has aluminum bleachers.

Is Potomac the track in Budds Creek, runs on Fridays? I need to get up there too. Heck, there are a ton of tracks I need to get to.

The worst track I've been to as far as bleachers go was I-30 speedway in Little Rock. Basically consisted of sagging 2x10 boards on some really onld bleacher frames. Went about 3 years ago, not sure if they've improved them or not.

That's Potomac for ya, same way. Yes, Potomac is in Budds Creek. Let me know when you come up, you need to visit MIR as well. Potomac Speedway is garbage. Nice track, but horrible facilities. The old shut down abandoned tracks have better facilities than Potomac.
 
I wish VMS was closer to me with all the good shows they have there.

Same here. All of us in Southern Maryland usually go to Hagerstown or Saluda (VMS). They're just much nicer facilities. Potomac Speedway is, quite honestly, a piece of crap. Rick Jones and Pete Cameron have had their heads stuck up their azz. They don't even have a dial-up internet line for the reporters. They use typewriters, an old PA system, their control tower is a two story, 4 room wooden tower. They refuse to spend the money, for as much revenue as Rick claims to make, to put up aluminum granstands.

Yep, Rick Jones is the greatest. Gonna give Royce a run for his money and shut MIR out of business. :rolleyes:
