LOL At Shrub's Driver Intro-

All of the Earnhardt Jr. fans, plus half the rest of the fan base. ;P

But didja notice that wry smile he had on his face. I think he was enjoying the moment.

Sure- he's finding out that there's no such thing as bad publicity. ;)

The "fans" can boo him all they want. It's not like it's going to change him. I honestly don't think he cares about being booed.

I know............me, too. The kid has SOOOO much talent. He just can't keep his mouth shut. He's his own worst enemy. I really wish Ernie Irvan would sit down and have a talk with Kyle. Ernie was a lot like Kyle (only didn't have quite the talent that Kyle has) and he ruffled a lot of feathers. The King and Big E sat Ernie down (at different times) and talked to him. The King told Ernie that he needed to EARN respect from his fellow drivers. The King said that on any given night, he could go by any driver's hauler/bus and be invited in for a meal. Ernie couldn't do that...................he pissed too many people off. Big E basically just told him if he didn't straighten out, he'd kick his @ss. LOL Anyhow...............that's when Ernie made the big apology at the driver's meeting. It was that day that he earned the respect of his fellow drivers. It took a MAN to apologize and the drivers knew that. I believe that Kyle needs a "come to Jesus" meeting with a well respected driver in NASCAR. I'm not saying that it'd work right away, but atleast it'd give him some food for thought.

Poor momma Busch... she had to walk across the stage with both of her boys. :D

To a race car driver, boos and cheers both mean they know you're there. Either is much better than silence.

Everyone hates the guy on the top of the pile...

thats it in a nutshell ....

I hear that with all the booing he pretended to wipe tears from his eyes
.......and then the smile from their faces with the win ....tooo much!

this season is getting better all the time :beerbang:

Do the boos bother him? "Not really," he said. "I don't care. I'm here to win. If I win, it just makes 'em more upset and crying on their way home....

I'm guessing he left all the booer's crying in there beer. You can't get a better drive then what Kyle had, overcoming adversity and a penalty and lead the mosts laps and out class the rest of the field by over three seconds, strokin' savin' fuel. And he ain't allowed to blow his own horn? Come on folks, some of you got a real long summer ahead of ya. Duane :D

Kyle is giving back to the fans the same treatment they give to him. If there is any lack of respect, it comes from both sides of the fence.

What options does Kyle have at this point. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Just reading the posts on this forum and notice how many are emotional.

One of the most glaring omissions is the comparison to Tony Stewart and his behavior his first five or six years in the series. Tony even took his bad azzed attitude and physical prowess off track. At least Kyle hasn't dropped to that level.

Comparing Kyle to Earnhardt is a stretch in one respect but in another, they share the same desire to win just as the same competitiveness is shown by any of the top drivers.
Kyle is lacking in maturity but give the guy a break.
He is twenty-three and upon reflection, when most of us were twenty-three, we made some stupid choices and sometimes, drove in a little too hard.

Kyle Busch is the real deal. Love him or hate him, he is here to stay. I do not like to see him fake the wiping of tears or taunt fans with his bowing, but the fans get what they deliver, in spades, when he wins.
And then, to top things off, the spectators (these people are not fans of the sport) throw trash and full cans of beer at him on the victory lap.

Justice is served in many ways, to the spectators and as Kyle will receive the day someone takes him up the hill.
It is all a learning curve. For everybody.

Kyle's very immature though.

How come Joey Logano can handle his emotions behind the wheel better than Kyle.

I'd rather drivers take their emotions out off-track. Put on a good postrace fight. Give the fans something to watch. That's much better than kirking out and wrecking racecars.

Do I need to remind you about his "I'll wreck as many cars as I need to" stunt?

It's unfair to say Kyle Busch is the real deal. A few years from now, he might disappear all together.

Joey Logano, right now, is looking like the 2nd coming of Jeff Gordon.

Andy, did you not see the yoda shoot-out in LA last year? Joey was pretty po'd there. He hassn't been put in the pressure cooker yet, right now he's the Gibbs golden boy, wait for the real test.

I doubt that Kyle will forget how to drive and fall from NASCAR anytime soon, if he is a splash in the pan, I should be so lucky. Duane

If Kyle don't mature and get his head screwed on straight, he's going to fade just like his brother. Then again, Gibbs kept Tony this long so who knows.

That one sentence sums it up pretty well. There's really nothing he can do right now to make people like him. And he knows it. So why not play up the villain role? It's working for him, and he's got the wins (and the point lead) to back it up.

I'm liking Kyle Buch more and more every week.

A few years from now a meteor may crash into Earth ending life as we know it. Dude, buy a clue. Trying to predict the future is not your forte. I mean Bobby did resign with Petty despite your predictions that he never would. That he was just waiting to get in the 33.
As to Logan being the 2nd coming of Jeff Gordon, maybe he'll be the one that might disappear all together in a few year... :D

Oh I love him wiping the fake tears. It makes for great theater and just gets the fans all the more upset. Good for him I say.
And as to throwing cans, throwing while he's riding around before the race with his mom is just fuel for more of his antics.

If Kyle don't mature and get his head screwed on straight, he's going to fade just like his brother

The only reason Kurt has faded is because Penske sucks.

Laughing while getting booed, wiping fake tears, flipping off a member of Jr's pitcrew, getting beer thrown at him by the Dale rednecks, and still wins the race. How can you not like the guy? I wish he would take Jr out of every race.

I like the way you think...
