You know how they're always telling you to list your holograms from merchandise on Nascar.com? Well, I tried it a couple of weeks ago and most of my stuff either had the old hologram or there never was a tag with them even though they were purchased from drivers' web sites, the track and a few from regular stores but they said "official Nascar" and had their logo, driver's logos and signatures and listed all the trade marks. So I sent off a a note asking why I was only able to enter the code they give you for old holograms once. I also told them I received recieved an order and not all of the items had the tag with the hologram. So they wrote back and asked if I would describe what I had and where I purchased them so they could check for counterfiets. So I thought of everything I could, described them the best I could and sent it off.

I got a message that I was "awesome" for describing things so well and to thank me for my help and being a loyal fan they wanted to send me a die cast. I figured it would be one of the little ones. Thurs. there was a box on the step and it was pretty heavy. I open it up and I'm totally shocked at what they sent me. It's a 2008 "model" but I couldn't get over the details and how the trunk, hood, flaps and all that move and how detailed it was. I never would have spent this kind of $$ so my husband believed me when I told him I swear I didn't order it and pay for it. LOL

Pretty cool, huh? At least "something" good happened this past week. :)

Yorkie, that's great, but try to keep a little cool there will ya? :D I wonder how you would have felt if that had been a Biffle car? Don't answer that, I think I know. Yer a great fan and anything to do with NASCAR is fine with you. I know how you feel. Want some original Junior Johnson corn liker? :beerbang:

That is Kool WNY and the car is so Kool it made Kelloggs speachless again.

ROFL!! I was happy they sent me a Gordon car, but have to admit I was thinking... hmmm... is this car bad luck? It was from last year? LOL We know Kell really loves Jeffy, don't we tk? heh heh ;) :D

Actually Buck, I didn't know if they made just a car that said "NASCAR" on it and it wouldn't even have any driver's make, markings, etc. ;) I guess they figured since 90% of the items I listed were Gordon things and the other 10% were Stewart, they had a sure thing going on sending it to me. Just noticed they took it off its site when I thought it was there when I checked to see how much the thing cost.

Why my very first NASCAR t-shirt is a Greg Biffle t-shirt. :) My daughter did some fitness test at the track and brought it back home for me. Hubby got something from Hooters. I think he was more happy?? LOL At the time I didn't know Greg or most of the other drivers anyway and I would have liked it a lot better had it FIT! I've been wearing a NASCAR Cafe t-shirt for years before I ever was so hooked on watching. The thing that made us laugh the most is our kid is not what you would call "endowed" and she really needed a visor since she was getting burned and the only white one she could find was a Hooters. We asked her if it was wishful thinking or something. heh heh. She also looks about 5 or more years younger than she is and we all were laughing that people were probabaly wondering what kind of parent would let a little kid wear a Hooters hat. :lol2:

Now you wouldn't be talking about Junior Johnson moonshine would ya? LOL Actually could have used some of that when the Army recruiters showed up at my door when my nephew was in Iraq and almost gave me a heart attack. I didn't spare words w/them if ya know what I mean? LOL We paid for YEARS for that Biffle T since it was a National Guard T. They didn't take no for an answer for around 5 yrs. Scaring me half to death finally did it I think! Acck!

Now there's a certain couple of drivers I just "might" have had to put the thing up on Ebay or sumthin. heh heh ;)

Yorkie, other than a bunch of Bill Elliott stuff, most of what I have just has NASCAR on it. Believe it or not, my car tag is NASCAR...not the letters, but the logo. Here in NC we can get many different logos on the tags and there are several drivers that you can get as well. Good thing I didn't get Tony Stewart #20... and there are a bunch of those out there. After Elliott, I just didn't want to specify who my favorite is. I've got good reason for that too. There is a whole lot of stuff with just the NASCAR logo on it and that's what I prefer. Now when it comes to hooters, I mean Hooter's, I'm not thinking of racing.
