Changes are expected with the #77 Penske-Jasper Dodge. Travis Kvapil, the 2003 truck series champion, has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Brendan Gaughan. On Saturday, Kvapil showed total focus, winning despite the turmoil at Bang Racing involving a possible split from Toyota and the loss of teammate Mike Skinner. Certainly Penske-Jasper would be a more stable situation, but Penske South G.M. John Erickson says nothing will happen before the end of the season.(FoxSports/Sporting News)

you know, this would make sense if gaughan was driving anything but dave blaney's old stuff. That team hardly has any new cars and gaughan is making the jump straight from trucks...but I think if he had another year, after gainging the experience, and ALSO finally getting some new equipment, then he would really shine..but you know, this performance based business doesn't care about that...back to the truck series...

Roger Penske is not the type of guy to hang around waiting for the team to improve...he's as good as Gone or is it Gaughn?
