... to Las Vegas. :sarcasm:

15 cautions for over 50 laps and 2 red flags in the Vegas Nationwide race. ESPN said a number of them were for tires.

I didn't see tire failures --- I saw cut tires.

I saw a number of drivers hit the wall and push in fenders that rubbed. Saw many drivers run into each other, cutting tires.

I didn't see tires just explode for no reason.

So you're saying the Nationwide drivers were racing like ARCA drivers...

... while the ARCA drivers (Lagasee, Allgaier) drove like experienced veterans and scored career-high finishes?

Cool. :)

The drivers are racing hard....isn't that what people want?

Tires used in the NNW series are the same that the cup cars will use today. They had said they were designed to take the added abuse the COT will give them due to their added weight. These tires didn't wear on the NNW series, in fact it was mentioned some teams might roll the dice and just change right sides once.
Obviously a hard(er) compound than the NNW normally uses. Hard compound = less grip. Easy to loop around when you get back in it coming off the corner and hit the transition. IMHO of course,,

agreed

I like how they bring the same tire for 2 different types of cars and expect not to have any problems.I agree also SST55.
