Looks Like The 'Cup Stars Are Staying Home

I like the way Brad does it. Just his second full year in Cup, and he has plans to back out of running the NW series fulltime. He steped out of his #29 truck, because he started the team to help up and comers, not for his own glory. He turned it over to Parker Kligerman with the hope that he would show Discount Tire enough for them to let him take over for Brad in the #22 NW car. Brad and Roger said the plan is to have Parker run the #22 fulltime next year, with Brad running a second car part time to try and attract another sponsor.

Now THAT'S supporting the series and giving back to the sport.

My top questions for tonight.....

#1: Can Steven Wallace make it through an entire race without crashing himself or someone else?

#2: Can Brian Scott make it to the half way point before he eats the wall?

#3: Can anyone keep Carl Edwards from winning?

These questions—and many others—will be answered in the next episode of...Soap.
:D

Cuzzin' Carl seems to be doing a pretty good job of stopping himself lately..

I see Global Pigeon Supply on the #74 car.

Interesting sponsor. Hey, their money's green, too.

"Caraviello: On the entry list, every driver has a chance".

Caraviello's even-steven analysis of the Nationwide line up begs the question EVEN STEVEN?

The next time you watch an interview with Steven, watch his eyes. I think he has Tourette syndrome because his eyes are closed more than they are open.

I thin k that was reported at one time, that he actually has something like that, or another medical problem.

BOOBIES. Oops, sorry:D

I always wondered. I would say he does pretty well and has grown up over the last two years.

So, who will be the one to send cousin Carl home? :D

Congratulations to Edwards on his 59th win...and counting.

..or when some other driver's fan punches him in the nose when Carl runs into the stands.

I'm waiting for the day he doesn't land that backflip.

I've been working on a way of coating his seat with vasoline. After the race, he will transfer it to the window ledge when he gets out, and BOOM...we get a Carl Edwards reinactment of his handy work at Atlanta.

Good thing the Cup stars stayed home. :sarcasm:

Judging from the participation in the "Natiowide @ Nashville" thread, I'm guessing not too many people here watched it. Funny, after many saying they'd prefer to watch a NNS race with few Cup guys.:idunno: There were only 2 in the race.

Didn't miss much, though.
